Terms of Service — Ekinia

1. What the App Is

Ekinia is a record-keeping tool that helps you log and report on your farm activities (fields, crops, animals, production, income and expenses). The app stores your data on your device.

2. Disclaimer — Please Read

⚠️ Ekinia is NOT a veterinarian, agronomist, accountant or advisor.

• The calculations, estimates, drug withdrawal-period warnings, pregnancy and calving predictions, and yield and cost analyses in the app are helper calculations based on the data you enter. They are not a substitute for professional advice.
• Always consult your veterinarian for animal health decisions and drug withdrawal periods. You are solely responsible for final decisions about whether milk or meat is fit for consumption.
• For tax, accounting and official filing purposes, reports produced by the app are not official records.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LIVESTOCK, CROPS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

3. Your Data Is Your Responsibility

Because your data lives on your device, we have no way to recover it from a server.

• If your phone is lost, damaged, reset, or the app is uninstalled, the data cannot be recovered.
• You are strongly advised to create backups regularly and keep them somewhere other than the device (Settings → Backup).
• The security and sharing of your backup file is your responsibility.

4. Free Version, Pro Subscription and Trial

4.1 Free Version

The core record-keeping features are free and include ads. The free version applies record count limits to certain record types and restricts some advanced reports. The current limits are shown on the upgrade screen inside the app.

4.2 Pro Subscription

Pro removes ads, unlocks the limits and enables advanced reports. It is offered monthly or annually. The current price is displayed by Google Play or the App Store at the time of purchase in your own currency.

4.3 Free Trial

Eligible users are offered a 30-day free trial. During the trial no ads are shown and Pro features are unlocked.
⚠️ Unless cancelled, the trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends. To avoid being charged, cancel through Google Play or the App Store before the trial period ends.

4.4 Renewal, Cancellation and Refunds

• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.
• To cancel (Android): Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• To cancel (iPhone): Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Pro stays active until then.
• Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the store where the purchase was made (Google Play or the App Store). Since we do not receive the payment directly, we cannot issue refunds ourselves.

4.5 When a Subscription Ends

Your records are NOT deleted. When a subscription ends, ads return, the free-version limits apply again, and records beyond the limit become read-only — they are not deleted, they remain exportable, and they become editable again if you resubscribe.

4.6 Changes

Prices and package contents may change. Prices for existing subscribers will not be changed without following the relevant store's (Google Play or App Store) notice requirements.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app;
• Attempt to bypass advertising or subscription controls;
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

The app's name, logo, interface and source code belong to the developer. The data you enter belongs to you.

7. Discontinuation

If development of the app is discontinued, reasonable advance notice will be given on the store listing and inside the app. Your data will remain on your device and the backup feature will continue to work.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Uşak, Türkiye shall have jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights you have under the mandatory laws of your own country or state of residence.
